Bill Huston
Class of 1970
Navy, 20+ Years
I felt left behind when my high draft number kept me from having to go into the Service in 1970. In 1973 I enlisted in the Navy and spent the next 22 years as a Hull Technician. My experiences included Navy Diving, Submarine Repair as a welding inspector and interesting travel. The best events of all were raising my two daughters with my Wife.

I was stationed in Germany - in the rear with the beer - during the tail end of the Vietnam War. It was fairly uneventful, thank goodness, compared to what some of the brothers and sisters went through in Southeast Asia, and other places. I was lucky. Or blessed.
