About	Larry retired in 1996 from SAIC where he had worked for many years in the space and missile defense industry. He is survived by wife Charlotte Bates Hazel (class of '62), sons James Eric (Ricky) and wife Joan of Troy; David Wesley and wife Christy of Lacey's Spring; daughter Pamela Lynn of Somerville ;and daughter Valerie Jean of Mt. Olive, and 4 grandsons, Joshua Lynn Stinson, David Ryan Hazel, Christopher Nathan Thompson, and Nathan Alexander Lartigue. Larry suffered for 2 years with lung cancer. He was buried at Moncrief Cemetery in Gardendale.
