Lost my ring in summer of 1967 in Rochelle , IL. I was working at a Del Monte English pea factory in quality control. We had a thistle run in the peas and I went to the conveyor belt line to help. My hands were wet and my ring fell into a huge vat used for canning. Ran down stairs to stop the process. No way that happened. My ring was canned in a Del Monte can of peas in 1967. I had hopes it would be found and returned to MHS. Hasn't happened! I think the can is probably past the sell by date now.
1964 MHS Blue stone. No matter how hard you look, you'll never find it because I lost it on the Duty Train in East Germany in December 1965. would love a replacement if obtainable. Frank Benjamin Clements

Girls ring, 1959, JKH. I found this with my grandmother's belongings. It may have belonged to a relative of hers, as both her maiden and married names began with an "H". My email is LWHB@charter.net. Thank you.

Hi there,
I wonder if any one reading this could help me locate the owner of a ring that was found by my son a few years ago on some wasteland in a town called Hoddesdon. The ring is gold with a red stone and has Morrilton High School 1969 embossed on it. When he originally found it I telephoned the school and gave someone the information that I had but they never called back. The ring was well worn so must have been worn with pride, and I would like to return it to it's rightful owner.

We appreciate you contacting us and we will try to locate the owner... Are there any initials or name of any kind in the ring? Is it a girls or boys ring?
Thanks...

Hello Jim,
Thank you for getting back to me. The ring is a boy’s ring and it is very difficult to make out what is written on the inside of the band but I think that there is an initial J on it. What I will do in the morning is take it to a local jeweler and ask him to have a look; he may have a better magnifying glass than I have. If you think you have found the owner at some point, you should know that the band has been cut. Presumably the ring became too tight and only the owner will know this. I do hope you can find the owner. He may live in the UK or have friends in Hertfordshire. Where the ring was found was not in any tourist spot it was really out of the way along a country style footpath.
I look forward to hearing from you again.
Regards
Maureen French
