My brother was a good friend of his and some of you may know went on to Hollywood and was into Special Effects in a very big way. One of many, many films he did the special effects and also came up with some that he created with his crew, and one that I remember well and I saw in the credits was "Close Encounters of the Third Kind." But I don't remember what year it came out. I'm sure you can Google him and see all the accomplisements Doug had attained. I, fort one,, am very proud of his many accomplishments in this venue and others he created like capsules you enter and see and feel like you are in a space ship that many entertainment companies had in their parks!!! Hope many of you looked him up on Google, Wikipedia, etc. He was well known for his Special Effects.
