Class of MHS 1976 Monticello, Ilinois Hello! We are looking forward to seeing all of you at our 35th class reunion. We hope to renew our friendships and to make some new. I can’t believe how quickly the years have flown & am looking forward to seeing how each of us has made the best we can of our gifts! •Reunion - Please join us October 1st, 6:30 p.m. at the Monticello Red Wheel for snacks and pay-as-you-go cocktails. Those interested in dinner may order off of the menu @ their own expense. If you are not interested in eating....that is okay too! We ask for a $7 minimum donation from each person & guest coming to the reunion (please mail this to Martha - address below). This money will help with expenses of mailing, copies, snack foods, dessert, prizes, float expenses, rental of restaurant, decorations, and assorted other expenses. Please know that we are trying to keep the costs to an absolute minimum as we wish everyone to come! •Hotel - If you are interested in a hotel, the Best Western is next to the Red Wheel. They charge about $129 for a night. Heads up, there is an Illini home game and the class of 86 is have their 25th reunion so the hotel will fill up quickly. We have not reserved a block of rooms, so you will need to make any needed reservations asap. Parade starts at noon at the HS. All members of the class of 76 are welcome to ride! Bring your own candy to toss to the children in the crowd.
