The Time has come that We Schedule Monticello School District All School Reunion 2016, preferably around 4th July Holiday. Great opportunity for General Assembly, Each Class having their individual Fellowships and Establish Our Hall Of Fame Historic Recognitions. I offer myself as the Research and Development Entity for this most overdue and vital necessity for the District. This year for Me is the 50th Anniversary I entered the Monticello High School as Freshman and the Historic Integration Began. The Pre and Post Era has a multitude of History, Memories, etc. for Both the Majority and Minority Alumni of the Flagship School District of Southeast Arkansas(THE MONTICELLO SCHOOL DISTRICT): Please Contact Me 870.308.5441 mobile/text or wherryconsultant@gmail.com
Black History Month Note: The Monticello, Arkansas-Monticello Junior High School Junior Billie's Basketball Team Won It's Second Consecutive District and Conference Championships February 19, 2014 to conclude an Outstanding Undefeated Conference and Tournament Season and Championship Play. The Historic Significant for the Monticello Junior Billie's is that this year marks the 49th year that integration began in South Arkansas(1965) and Monticello was the only District that had an African American, that player being me(Sam Wherry) and that team 49 years ago were Champions and this date Monticello is the Flagship Entity of South Arkansas and all Rural Arkansas; again Congratulations to Coach Robert Williams(African American) winner of both the Boy's and Girls District and Conference Championships.
