I found a ring while digging through my grandfather's stuff. My grandfather never attended this school so I'm not really sure how he obtained it, but I do know where he found it. It's dated 1963 with the initials "P" carved on one side and "M" carved on the other. There is a book in the center with what looks to be a genie's lamp at the top and three crosses above it. Inside it is engraved "Palfour 10k".
If you think this ring is yours, please contact me at alyngo@gmail.com and describe how you lost it and where/when was the last time you saw it etc. The more details, the better. If the information you provide seems to relate with how my grandfather found it, it's yours. :)
Does anyone have a picture of what the monogram would look like on a 1915 Mt Sterling High School ring, or can you send me to a site that may show it. I have a 1915 Mt Sterling High School ring but am not sure it is Mt Sterling Kentucky. It has a stylized M then H with S's thru the legs of the M and H and a second S thru the other leg of the H. It looks like a rose gold and probably a womans ring based on its size. It is not marked with any initials that I can find Thanks Jeff Barker Jeffbarker@verizon.net
