Dr. Roger Rice
Class of 1981
Roger Rice graduated from MHS in 1981 with on of the first full ride athletic scholarships to Colorado State University. After finishing his football career he returned to Montgomery to serve as a teacher and then school administrator. In pursuit of his successful school administration career, he moved north and served as a high school principal an now Assistant Superintendent of his school district.
This humble Aztec of 1981, has enjoyed great success in his career by working hard in school and a passionate dedication to his family. Dr. Rice’s hard work has earned him a bachelors degree, a masters degree, an administrative credential and now his Doctorate from the prestiougous USC graduate school. Dr. Rice has three children and has been married for 20 years to 1981 graduate Grace Garrovillas.
