| Favorite School Memory | There are several good highschool memories--I'm still in shock that it has been 10 years. I loved the first time I was able to drive to school, then of course senior parking was awesome, having early dismissal, DECA class, and senior skip day (when we were just juniors!). I was surprised after leaving highschool because I figured everyone would stay close but I haven't seen many people since leaving highschool and going off to college. | About Me | After high school I attended Morehead State University, moved on campus & continued working at Traditional Bank. Between my sophomore and junior year I married Jason Townsend and communted to MSU from our house in Mt. Sterling. After I got my BBA in finance in May 2002, I worked as a financial planning analyst in Lexington for 2 years before accepting a position with a trust company in Lexington and Jason and I moved there. I passed the boards to become a Certified Financial Planner while working there. In October 2006 Jason & I moved back to Mt. Sterling on our 10 acre farm and I opened my own financial planning practice called Townsend Financial Planning. I really enjoy working with people in the areas of investment & retirement planning and seeing them build a plan to achieve their goals.
