| About Me | I attended Ga Southern for a short time, worked for the Statesboro Herald Newspaper, then I left Ga for the military. I spent two months in Great Lakes IL, and eight months in Memphis TN for training, then moved to Virginia. I've been assigned to four different commands, VF-103, AIMD, VF-213, and VFA-106. I've done three tours overseas on the USS Eisenhower, USS George Washington, and USS Roosevelt leading to the following port visits: Rota and Cartegna Spain, Marseille France, Naples, Rome (the Vatican, Coloseum, and Sistine Chapel), Sardinia, and Venice Italy, Antalya and Marmaris Turkey, Rodos and Corfu Greece, Al Jaber Air Force Base Kuwait, Jebel Ali and Dubai United Arab Emirates. I've seen the Rock of Gibraltar and I've been through the Suez Canal 6 times.The shores of Egypt and Saudi Arabia can be seen while transiting the Suez.
