About Me	Had 2 wonderful sons, Jared and Connor. Jared is 25, graduated from UM in 2006 and works as a manager at the Oak Mtn State Park. One of his perks is to live in a rustic cabin way up on the mountain about 500 yards from Peavine Falls, beautiful scenery. Connor is 14 and has just started MHS. He loves baseball and is a great baseball player and hopes to be playing baseball for MHS this spring. I got a BS in Accounting from UAB and graduated magna cum laude (that just means I had a grade point average of 3.76) and I went to graduate school at UAB and received a Masters in Public Adminstration which is for the non-profit sector what an MBA is for the business sector. I worked my way up first at the University of Montevallo in the Payroll/Personell Office and then at UAB as Senior Budget Office in the Budget Administration Office. Serious Illness forced me out of the work force and into early retirement in 2000. That was a rough transition for me and I still have to cope with issues from that to this day. Our family has done some traveling (mainly to visit my brother, Taylor Lawrence in his various homes).
