| Favorite School Memory | Being the first class to attend Monte Vista how tight knit our class was.Open afternoons...Cooking with Mr. Ow teaching us how to make Fried Rice I still use that recipe.Entire Freshman Class taking a field trips to places like Mare Island to go aboard a submarine; going on a field trip to Hastings Business School in Berkeley during the People's Park Riots and seeing National Guard on every corner; Volunteering at Lynn School; Candy Striper at Kaiser in Walnut Creek;Cruising the main in Walnut Creek; Welcoming new students to our school; Our Freshman Football Season winning against San Ramon;Battle of the Bands; Going from the Annex to Loard's Ice Cream for a cone with friends while we waited for the bus home;Moving from the Annex to our campus.My surprise going away party given by all my wonderful friends at the opening to Mt.Diablo when my parents decided to move to Pleasant Hill right after Easter of my Junior year. I was overwhelmed with the love that was shown to me.
