About Me	Married Ron, a 1971 graduate of Granite Hills in 1978. We moved to Colorado, where we raised and homeschooled our 4 kids on 43 acres. After a fire destroyed our home in 2000, we moved to a town of 600, where we bought a 1917 adobe home. Ron died in 2006. I have been involved with veteran and military support activities since 1989, particularly among Vietnam Veterans. I was a participant with Run For The Wall, a pilgrimage from California to The Wall since 1990. More recently I was active with Colorado Patriot Guard Riders, where I was a Ride Captain and Military Liaison, working with military casualty officers to coordinate flag lines to honor fallen service members. I was also a volunteer firefighter/EMT in our small, rural community. For several years, I homeschooled one granddaughter. In 2015, I married Skip, a retired law enforcement officer and Vietnam Veteran. At the time of our marriage, I relocated to Skip's home in the city and stepped down from my PGR...(read more)
