Suzanne and I met after graduation and dated exclusively for about a year. She was hired by Western Airlines as a flight attendant and based first in San Diego and then transferred to LAX. I made many trips up to LA as did she back to San Diego when our schedules allowed. After that first year she was transferred to Seattle and we drifted apart, neither of us wanting to continue in a long distance relationship. I learned through a mutual friend that she had a battle with alcoholism and that had led to her death. Such a beautiful girl gone way to early!!!
