Russell Aiuto
Class of 1951
Russell Aiuto, '51, has had a long career as a college and university professor, administrator, and author. He was a Professor of Biology and Provost at Albion College (MI) and President of Hiram College (OH). Later, he was a Division Director at the National Science Foundation, Director of Research and Development at the National Science Teachers Association, and Senior Program Officer for the Council of Independent Colleges. He is a co-author of five textbooks, the author of twelve plays, and the author of over thirty research papers and articles. He has degrees from the University of Michigan, Eastern Michigan University, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
