Mission Trip To Turkey!

Dear fellow Monroe high school alumni members

This year brings me on a new journey with my walk with the Lord, and I want to take some time to share it with you. This fall I will be moving to Istanbul, Turkey; where I will be serving as a missionary. I’m partnering with Teach Overseas, a non-profit organization whose goal is to share Christ’s love through teaching.

Turkey is 99% Muslim. As I work with students, I will have the opportunity to be a witness both in and outside the class. My hope is that through these relationships doors will open for me to be able to share the love and grace of Christ.

In order to do this, I am humbly asking for your support in two different ways. The first, and most important, is prayer because this is a huge step of faith for me. As Paul wrote in Philippians 4:6, “Do not be anxious about anything but in every situation, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” The second way you can support me is financially. I need to raise $10,000 in order to serve in Turkey. I certainly appreciate any one time gift but I ask that you prayerfully consider a monthly gift of $25, $50, $75 or $100 for one year.

Monroe High School has played an important and vital role in my life helping me become the person I am today. I would not be where I am today if it weren’t for the prayers, guidance, friendship and/or support I have received from my Tornado family. I truly thank the Lord for you all!
