When I started school there (kinder) they were not the Tigers .We were the Monroe Falcons? Then changed it sometime before or around 2nd or 3rd grade .Idk long time ago for details details .Mr Joplin principal then Mecham Principal after . He would have the whole school square dance to oh johnny oh johnny oh. …good stuff, you know Mecham became principal right when they started bussing in students (witch was a big deal back then) and very well could have been one of or the first black principals for that time please feel free to comment or research .interesting. Really nice guy enjoyed his job
