Army, 4 Years
G-2, 82nd Abn Div 1949-1950, 7th Army Airborne Rangers 1950-1951, 7th Inf. ID, Dec 51 - Oct. 8th, 1952. WIA in the Iron Trangle Battle of North Korea, Tokyo Army Hospital 1952 , Tripler Army Hospital 1952, Vallesy Forge Army Hospital in Phoenixville, Pa. 1952 & 1953. Experiences: 30 + parachute jumps using T-7, One of 17 piriveleged to test jump the T-10 parachute, Glider training, 1951 mountain training in Camp Carson, Colo.1951 Lig ht and Heavy Weapons School 1951. Two week course in packing Army Mules in 1951 (can't believe I told that) Having graduated from Monaca High School just slightly ahead of Chip Cizozzi (I'm not Italian, how do you expect me to be able to spell his last name), the military was the best years of my 78 years of life. So far.
Will l follow with an addendum in 2029 Have fun, enjoy life and blessings to all of my classmates. Jack
