About Me	After graduating from Penn State, I married my high school sweetheart, Tom Andrews, and made a big move from Bessemer to Mt. Jackson. I taught English at Shenango for two years and then took a job at Mohawk, where I taught for two more years. At that time, I decided to "retire" to raise my family. Seventeen years and two children later I returned to teaching at Mohawk where I had a number of children and grandchildren of former classmates as students. Before long, I was also having children of previous students in my classrooms. When I started getting their grandchildren in my classes, I decided it was time to retire, which I did in 2004. On Nov. 1, 2008, Tom and I moved from the Mohawk School District for the first time in our lives when we bought a condo in Neshannock Township. I love my new house, but it isn't Warrior Territory! Sadly, on September 14, 2009, my husband Tom passed away after a 40+ year struggle with Multiple Sclerosis. I intend to stay in our new home, but I expect I'll be spending more time with my children and grandch...(read more)
