| About Me | Earned an AA in chemistry -- Ohlone College (Fremont, CA) and Sierra College (Rocklin, CA). Earned a BS in Animal Physiology at UC Davis (1990). Worked in Medical Device Development and Project Management for 5 years. Met and started dating Stacey, my future wife (Oct 1992). I moved to Colorado. Stacey went to Texas for Medical School. Earned an MBA at the University of Colorado, Boulder (1997). I loved Boulder. It is a great location to hike with your dog, and ride bikes all year round -- yes in the snow (especially now that there are bikes designed for those conditions). I did not love the program; I prefer science. I moved to Dallas, Texas from Boulder, Colorado (only love could get me to do that). Worked at the National Center of the American Heart Association (Dallas, Texas). Moved with Stacey to Portland, Maine for her medical residency. Worked at a leading company in the calibration of liquid handling/calibration devices -- quite small, friendly; a great place to work. Moved with Stacey for her first regular medical position -- in Anchorage Alaska! We have been here since 2003. We now (2015) have a 10-year-old daughter named Kate. Kate and I went Ice Fishing yesterday, and she caught her first fish ever! -- then her second fish, and her third fish.
