| About Me | I moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1980~met and married my daughters (Morgan Foletta) father (Brad Foletta). In 1986 we moved to the Central Valley of Ca., and shortly thereafter, started Unique Occasions, it is a marketing program primarily for Automobile Dealerships. Brad and I separated and eventually divorced in July of 1990. Morgan graduated from Chico State and had taken her LSATS for Law School, she decided to take a vacation to visit friends in Bilbao, Spain before school started. Morgan called me the day she was supposed to return home from Spain to tell me that she had been offered and accepted a job, and would not be coming home. Her plans were to stay for one semester, she teaches and tutors English, however that has turned into 5 + years. In 2014 she and long time s/o Pablo Suerias moved in together. On 11-7-2006 I was involved in a robbery at my local Right Aid store. Four young men were stealing alcohol from the store-with no help from the only cashier present, I was beaten so badly I spent the next week in the hospital. Overnight, I could no longer physically conduct the business that had brought me so much joy and prosperity for so many years. Shortly thereafter, I learned that I was permanently disabled due to the injuries that I sustained during the assault. After recuperating for almost four years, I realized that I would need to be retrained if I ever wanted to work again. I started attending College courses part time and worked up to full time. I plan to transfer to UC East Bay or UCSF next year. My plans are to major in the field of Law and possibly have my own business again. I really enjoy school, and hope to be able to visit Morgan in Spain in the near future. I am really looking forward to start this new chapter of my life; filled with new and longtime friends.
