| About | On November 2, 2008, Miss Sylvia Holly lost her battle with pancreatic cancer. There will be a memorial service on June 6th at 10:00AM in the Mira Costa gym to celebrate her life and all are invited. Please tell your friends who knew and loved her. All girls who were on drill team when she was our instructor are invited to participate in a short routine tribute to her memory. Contact Merna Conaway Marshall for more details. (on this website). Sylvia, know as Holly to be was a good friend. We played Senior softball together for years and won quite a few championships. She would like to be remembered as a great coach. She cared. She was also a very good athlete and a great hitter.
