| About Me | Guide me Holy Spirit in your ways in these very unsettled times. After graduation I enlisted into the U.S. Army. When I got out my parents had transferred to Texas. I've been here ever since. I have a daughter Monica, a son Nicholas, and a step-son George. I have four grandchildren, Monica's children: Zoe Nikole Luxon 9, Kyler Payton Rose 5, and Elijah Troy Rose 3; and Nicholas' boy: Thomas Walker Luxon III (born 11/21/10). I was married to Michael Glenn Worsham, Monica's "sperm donor" for 5 years. I was married Thomas Walker Luxon, Jr. (a self employed Union electrician) for 14 years when he died in March, 2001 from a heart attack. He died in his truck in a rest area on I35W on his way home from a service call in OKC. His best friend found him three days later. His father passed away in November of the same year. I married Arthur Bruce Rice on February 13, 2003. He died April 4, 2003 of cancer that we were unaware of. I married George Alan Oakes on May 1, 2004. We found out he has Multiple Myeloma not long after we were married. He is doing well after two stem cell transplants (his own) and a clinical trial. They have done pretty much all they can. But to look at him you would never know he was ill. He loves cars, trucks and Harley Davidsons. That's how we met in a motorcycle club bar. It was love a first sight. We had both been MPs in the Army. He is from the San Francisco Bay Area and was stationed at the Persidio. I was stationed at Fort Devens, MA and Heidelburg, Germany. I worked for probate and estate lawyers for about 15-16 years. I worked at a Presbyterian Church for 13 1/2 years before my personal life and health issues lead to a resignation.
