| About Me | Workcamp 2013 will be at Cookson, OK beginning July 7th. I tell everyone that I was born in 1899. That's not entirely true. I'm an Air Force brat - I attended elementary schools on the west coast (Sacremento, CA, Fairchild AFB, WA), jr and sr high schools on the east coast (Wilbraham, MA), and colleges in the Mid-west (Independence community college, Kansas State, Southwestern College, Pittsburg State). I was a geek in high school and pretty much still a geek. Is there such a person as an all-round cool geek?! I'm married to Mary Ellen from North Dakota whom I met in Denver. We have 3 kids - Stephanie, in Charleston, SC, Colin, In Springfield, MO, and Kyle, in Jefferson City, MO. I have a brother, Steve, in Chanute, KS and a sister, Bonnie, in Independence, KS. I've lived all over the US and find that Jefferson City is my top pick to stay. (However, the Cape May area of New Jersey and the Saint Simon Island of Georgia are pretty enticing!)(Come to think about it, Coeur d' Alene, Idaho is pretty nice.)(Oops, Chatham, Mass. on Cape Cod would be hard to beat.)(Wouldn't want to live in Denver, Colorado but Vail might be nice.)
