About | Curtis C. Wing, Jr., son of the late Curtis C. Wing, Sr. and Doris (Lever) Wing, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at CareOne at Redstone with his devoted wife of 54-years, Judith (Flint) by his side. Curt was born in Ludlow on November 26, 1946 and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. A graduate of Springfield Technical High School, Springfield College and Wesleyan University, Curt taught science at Minnechaug Regional High School in Wilbraham for 35 years. Curt also taught evening and summer classes at Western New England College and Springfield College. He loved antique cars, racing, fishing and vacationing at Lake George. Prior to his illness, most mornings Curt could be found having coffee with friends at Dunkin Donuts. He enjoyed the monthly ROMEO lunches at Jake's with former coworkers, Bruce, Gary, Jay and Larry and racing model cars with Ray Legary. Besides his wife, Judy, Curt leaves his son, Mark (Laurie); grandchildren, Emily and Eric; his brother, Douglas (Sherry), his sister, Cynthia Jones; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, William Jaciow, Betty Jaciow and Margaret Flint along with his nieces and nephews. Curt was predeceased by his son, Michael, brother, Stephen and brothers-in-law, Peter Flint and Jack Jones. The family would like to thank the staff at CareOne at Redstone and The D'Amour Center for Cancer Care for their compassionate care of Curt as he fought his battle against cancer. Calling hours will be held on Monday, February 19th from 4-6 PM at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home & Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, in Springfield.
