About	Howard E. Person, 56, of Holyoke, died on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Springfield, son of Dolores E. (Dutton) Person and the late Edward A. Person, was a 1978 graduate of Minnechaug High School and received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Massachusetts Maritime Academy. Howard was a Reservist with United States Navy from 1982 to 1988. He was a longtime member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in South Hadley and belonged to the Vernon Lodge of Masons. Howard was the Plant Manager for First Light Power Resources for many years. He is survived by his wife of thirty three years, Kathleen M. (Hale) Person; two beloved daughters, Laura E. Person of Westfield and Amy K. Person of Holyoke. He also leaves a brother, Douglas E. Person and his wife Kate of Sundown, NH. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. in Our Saviors Lutheran Church, 319 Granby Road, South Hadley, MA. Burial will be at a later date in Rhode Island. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke.
