About Paul T. Delaney, Jr. 1960 - 2012 WILBRAHAM - Paul T. Delaney, Jr., 51, died on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at home. Born in Marblehead, he lived in Wilbraham since 1970. Paul is survived by his loving family; his parents Paul T. and Joan (Arvidson) Delaney, his wife, best friend and soul mate Mary Dionne, their son Daniel Patrick Delaney, his sister Joanne (Delaney) Szydlowski and her husband Mark, their children Kaitlyn, Matthew and Michael, all of Wilbraham, his sister in law Terri (Delaney) Phelps and her son Kristopher of Edmonds, WA and numerous aunts, cousins and friends from all over the world. He was pre deceased by his sister Kristine and brother Mark Delaney. Paul was a kindhearted and generous person with a contagious smile who gave of himself to everyone he met. A true friend to each and every life he touched. Paul loved traveling, meeting people and making new friends. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to others in any way he could. A lobsterman, who was passionate about the sea, Paul worked with his father for many years in the family business. When he traveled the world, he shared his talent as a percussionist and love for music with musicians on three continents. As an uncle, cousin and friend to so many, Paul will be deeply missed by all who knew him and shared his love for life and laughter. Family and friends are encouraged to gather in celebration of his life at the Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham on Saturday May 5th from 3:00 - 7:00 pm. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
