About	Susan C. Hannington 1960 2010 HAMPDEN Susan C. (Engels) Hannington, 49, of Hampden, died Monday July 6, 2010 in Baystate Medical Center surrounded by her family. Born in Bronx, NY. on December 7th, 1960 she was the daughter of Edward and Joan (Haygood) Engels. Susan lived the best years of her life in Hampden and Wilbraham and graduated from Minnechaug Regional High School in Wilbraham, Class of 1978. Susan worked for the U.S. Postal service in Springfield and was a prominent business owner in Wilbraham of The Little Griddle Restaurant. She enjoyed sunning at the beach, the smell of the ocean, sunsets, fishing, and painting. She leaves behind her two beloved daughters, Jessica Hannington, of Springfield, and Cinthia Hannington of Boston; caring brother Edward Engels of Chicopee, and also her former husband but close friend Chuck Hannington of Hampden. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday July 9th 2010 at 12:00pm in Grace Union Church on Chapel Street in Wilbraham. Visitation will precede the service from 11:00am-12:00pm. Flowers can be sent to Grace Union Church.
