| About | Timothy J. Rymasz, 64, of Belchertown was called home unexpectedly on July 17th. He was born in Springfield on March 2nd, 1960 to the late John and Emily (Kusek) Rymasz. Tim was co owner of Enfield Auto Electric for a number of years, and later went on to work as head of maintenance at Interskate 91 in Wilbraham where he had many years of fun and friendship. He was a 1978 graduate of Minnechaug and a 1980 graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He will be remembered for his fantastic sense of humor, dedication to all of the activities of his children including serving as a Scoutmaster for Troop 131 for a number of years, and he also had many passions including snowmobiling, tending to his lawn, his VW dunebuggy, spending time camping at Sebago Lake in Maine, relaxing in the sun, playing Dr. Mario, and spending time with his kids and grandson. He touched so many lives at the skating rink and beyond with his deeds and friendship. He is survived by his two children Jonathan Rymasz and his wife Heather of Belchertown as well as their son Lincoln, and Melissa Escalante and her husband Robert of Springfield, as well as his brother David J. Rymasz. Tim also leaves many close friends both near and far from the skating rink, scouting, snowmobiling, and beyond. His life will be celebrated on Tuesday the 23rd from 4-7pm with a period of visitation at Sampson’s Chapel of the Acres, 21 Tinkham Rd in Springfield. His funeral will be held on Wednesday the 24th with the public invited to meet at Devine Mercy Parish in Three Rivers for 10am. He will then be laid to rest at St. Thomas Cemetery in Palmer.
