Sandy was my high school sweetheart (though she didn't concur) during our senior year in 1968 and became my wife (much to my joy) in 1975. She was very popular in school, and I suspect she had a lot of suitors. Why she picked me I'll never know, but I suspect it was because of my roots (originally from Worcester, MA).
She died at home from complications due to dementia. Her death was peaceful with no pain.
I miss her so much. We had no children and our lives revolved around each other.
