Robert (Rob) Hillgrove
Class of 1971
Just to let you know that Rob passed away on June 8, 2012 after an extended battle with MSL. Myelodysplastic Syndrome and Leukemia.
He had also undergone a liver transplant a few years ago.
Rob got to see his Boston Red Sox play in early May of this year.
His classmates voted for him to give the talk at graduation and there wasn't a dry eye in the house at the end. Rob was a gentle and helpful person.

His brother Terry (Ellis B Hillgrove III) passed away a few years earlier.
I know Debbie Penso named her 1st born after Rob as she thought very highly of him as a very good, loyal and trustworthy friend.
