About Me	I want to wake up so the sounds of leaves rustling in a slight wind, to the floor boards shifting, to a small mouse scurrying against the trim, the dog snoring on the couch. I want to feel rested, ready, prepared, but mostly excited. I never feel excited. I want to run my fingertips down the small of his back when my feet hit the cold breathing ground. I want to see sunlight dancing down a long hallway, just barely bathing it in gold. I want to breathe in the air and smell the word home. That smells of cedar wood chips, freshly dried cotton, aspens in the spring and Arizona rain. Home. I want to taste the feeling of serenity on my tongue just by breathing in the crisp air on a cold spring morning. I want to feel at one with myself. At one with my heart, my hopes, my fears, and my dreams. I think that’s something I will always search for. I never feel like I have a home. I never feel like I have a family. I never feel as if I have a place. I’m so young and so confused. I’m still so misguided and I have the world looking for my next move. I know that if I just find a home, I’ll be happy. Because the world can tear you down, kick you, spit in your face but if you have a home to go to; well you’re living large. You have the most valuable thing on earth. You have love my friend.
