| About Me | So Sarah and I have now made the upgrade from the pain that was dial up internet to the joy that is Cable Modem. As a result, I can be much more effective online. Contemplating what to do with this newfound power, I realized that I need to make the most of the communication mediums I have available to me. In other words, Facebook iz teh Roxors of my Soxors and I need to use it better. So I'd like to take this time to fill you all in on this thing called Campus Life. It's awesome. A program of the international organization Youth For Christ, Campus Life is a middle and high school after school program that brings Jesus to kids that would most likely never set foot in a church. We gather weekly to hang out, play games, learn about ourselves, each other and about God and what He has to say about us and our world. We meet for High School Campus Life on Monday. Middle School JV Campus life has been meeting Tuesdays. Sarah runs a JV Bible study on Wednesdays. Thursdays is our High school Bible Study. Each meeting is a few hours long, and tends to challenge the teens to think deep about what matters, and encounter God for who He is and enjoy a real, genuine relationship with Him. It's the highlight of the week. I currently volunteer for Youth For Christ and I'm working towards getting onto the staff part time. This requires fund raising for my salary, since it's essentially a Missionary position. It's quite a bit of work, but well worth it.
