About Me	I've had numerous jobs. I worked for San Juaquin Delta College for the year when Bud and I moved to Stockton. After moving back to Nevada County in Northern California, I managed a fabric/craft store for 5 years. I enjoyed sewing most of my family's clothes. Then, I was employed by Nevada County(4 years) and Placer County for 9 years. I began in the Planning and Building Departments assisting homeowners and contractors with the process of obtaining building permits. I spent 2 years in the Assessor's Office calcuating and valuing boats and airplanes. I was lucky to be asked to work with Facility Services and the Dept. of Museums where I worked on the California State Fair exhibit for Placer County. I was also asked to help create a large window display highlighting the County's attributes which was displayed in the State Capitol in Sacramento for over 5 years. Before retirement in 1999, I took some classes in sculpture and enjoy portrait sculpture. Since I retired, I've had 2 back surgeries and numerous other surgeries including both knees replaced. Needless to say, the tennis and tap dancing are a distant memory. When the heat isn't too bad, I enjoy swimming at the pool or the lake at Lake of the Pines where I live. My favorite past-time is still singing. About 5 years ago I joined Sierra Gold Chorus which is a chapter of Sweet Adelines International. We sing Barbershop for women and it is grand.
