Army, 5 Years

Eddie went into the army at 18 and has been in for 5 years now(2008)
He was wounded in Iraq in March of this year and just headed home for the first time in June.

We are proud of him and everyone serving

Class of 1986
National Guard, 20+ Years

Joined in March of 87. Over 2 years in Germany then to Ft Riley Kansas. Deployed for Desert SHield/Desert Storm. Currently deployed for Iraqi Freedom. Worked my way up the ranks from a Private to Sergeant then becam a Warrant Officer. I now have 22 combined service in the Active Army and the National Guard. During my time in the Guards I have been in units in Ohio and Kansas.

Our Miller High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Miller High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated. All of us in Corning are proud of our military alumni and want to thank them for risking their lives to protect our country!
