About Me	After graduation I went to work for my Dad’s construction company and worked there until 1988. We built room additions, remodels, decks and other projects; I will always be grateful for this experience which gave me the ability to fix about anything on my house! Our most significant project was a several year contract with Godfather’s Pizza; we designed and built many custom interior fixtures for hundreds of stores across the country. I married Suzi Craig (Omaha NW High School 1981) in 1986; we have two daughters, Sable and Keara. We have been trying to figure out the “empty nest” thing for several years now. I continue to stay involved in music and have played in several Omaha-area bands; I’m currently performing in a very successful Beatles tribute band, Come Together and an REO Speed Wagon tribute band, Keep on Pushin. In the fall of 1988 I was hired by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and retired in January of 2020 after a 31 year career finishing as captain in charge of the Criminal Investigations Bureau. After retiring from the Sheriff's Office I accepted the position of Vice President of Field Operations for the Nebraska Humane Society. I enjoy nerdy things such as genealogy and collecting and listening to music. I also enjoy staying active lifting weights and riding off-road trails on my bicycle, working in the yard and tinkering in my garage.
