About Me	Before I married, I was the receptionist for the Council of Twelve Apostles--hired by none other than Elder Hinckley (yes, later Pres H.) While working for the church, in that period of time; he asked me to take dictation for the first Family home Evening Book, index a book for McKonkie, and organize and open the first, self-service distribution center on Richards Street. For the next 19 years, I was a full-time wife & mother. When all my kids were in upper grades, I got a job in the Mayor's Office in Henderson, NV--and in this position, with the city only being 24,000 population, all my experiences/training with church and civic activities really paid off. I produced all the ground breaking and grand opening ceremonies for facilities, parks, etc.--as well as the Mayor/Council parade floats. After 9 years I was asked to produce those listed as well as various large scale events--ranging from attendance of 50,000 and under. Ultimately retiring 8-28-08.
