I joined the Navy is 1963 went onActvice Duty 1964 -1966 transfered to UNSR from 1966-1970 served on Destroyers, Minesweepers ,Tender last ship USS Joesph P Kennedy DD 850 at Battleship cove joined MANationl Guard and staed inuntil I retired in1990 as Sgt Frist Class (E-7) still working 4 Days a week I have 2 grandchildern 4&5 Good Luck to all the Troops keeping us Safe today God spped you Home Safe and sound the Sarge

Retired July 2010 with 30 years of service in the Army Reserves as a LTC. I completed 9 years of active duty, including 3 tours to Iraq and 1 to Afghanistan.

Spent two years an enlisted man (Communications Technician - Interpreter); studied North Vietnamese in Monterey, CA. Was commissioned an Ensign in 1971 and sent directly to Vietnam. Then spent two years teaching English at the Naval Academy Prep School. President of the International Conference of War Veteran Ministers. Now 100% Disabled by PTSD and Parkinson's Disease (Agent Orange).

Honorably retired Nov 2009 as a Master Sergeant, USAF. Served as a Telecommunications Engineer/Project Manager. Tours/deployements include locations in Europe, SW Asia, the Far East, Africa, and Alaska. Worked at various times for the Defense Communications Agency, Defense Information Systems Agency, and the National Security Agency, as well as for Pacific Air Forces (PACAF), US Air Forces Europe (USAFE), US Central Command (CENTCOM) and North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). Currently reside about 40 miles north of Anchorage, Alaska.

I was stationed on board the USS NASSAU LHA-4 in Virginia Beach Virginia. Worked as a Navy recruiter in Woonsocket RI. While on board the USS NASSAU LHA-4 we hit ports in Italy, Spain, France, Malta, and Purto Rico. We crossed the equator and sat off the coast of Africa. We assisted in a neo opperation in Albania in 1997. While serving on the USS NASSAU LHA-4 I was an "AO" Aviation Ordnance Man.

Our Milford High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done!
