Bob and I knew each other for over 50 years during which we had a lot of fun. Bob and I lived together for a couple of years in the early '70's, and were able to remain friends in spite of that. Bob, Rick Willenbrink (who has also passed), Eddie W., Phil "Dirt", and, later, Jim K. (deceased) (and Mr. Willenbrink on occasion), had a card game going from about 1966 at my house in Milford (with my Mom and Grandmother putting up with it) to close to his death on April 19, 2019 (I believe), intermittently at times, without ever once having to lay down rules "of engagement" - well, maybe a time or two, but we were amazingly in synch around the table. The night of Bob's death, thanks to Ed getting this together, Bob, Ed and I played a few hands. Bob tried to use his condition to gain some sympathy but we weren't having it. I really miss Bob, and Rick, and Jim.
