ROBERTA BEAMAN OBITUARY
Dec. 12, 1949 - Oct. 3, 2017 OKLAHOMA CITY Also known as Bertie to most, lived her passion of being a nurse for 40 years. While her career involved many areas of nursing, her love was the work she did on the heart team at St. Anthony's Hospital and The Children's Hospital @ OU Medical. She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Leah Schramm, husband Dustin Schramm; her son, John C. Smith; and her many unofficial foster kids, whom she mentored and was extremely proud of the adults they have become. They all loved her dearly. She is survived by 4 sisters and 1 brother - Ralesia Beals, husband Tom Beals of Kentucky, Rebecca Cox, husband JR Cox of Eufaula, OK, Julie Tomlinson, husband Michael R. Tomlinson of Asher, OK, Gigi Wissler, husband Bill Wissler of Midwest City, OK, and Harold Reese, wife Cathy Reese of Jones, OK; ex-husband and life long friend Richard Beaman; many neices, nephews, other family and friends. Memorial service will be Monday, October 9, 2017, at Putnam City Christian Church, 4215 N. Grove, Warr Acres, OK. at 3:00 pm.
