About	Football Star's Spouse Killed. Mrs. Amelia Sue Crosswhite, 21, Norman was dead on arrival at Norman Municipal Hospital after suffering a broken neck, broken leg and head injuries. She had car trouble and pulled onto the shoulder where she was struck. The Crosswhites had been married almost two years. They had no children. Crosswhite, a star fullback on the OU team, was drafted by the Detroit Lions. Mrs. Crosswhite was the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Arnold Nelson, Midwest City. Services First Baptist Church. Arrangements pending Paylor, burial Arlington Memorial Gardens.
