Karen Jean (Amann), 44, of Choctaw, went to join our Lord on September 10, 1995. Karen, a graduate of Central State University, was a teacher in the Choctaw Public Schools for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Francis & Geraldine Amann. Karen was a loving and devoted wife of 23 years, and is survived by her husband Michael & their 3 children, Christopher, Stacie & Caitlin, of the home; her sister, Emilie Lou Schaefer of Brenham TX; her brother, Michael Amann of Lawton; several nieces & nephews, hundreds of former students, & many, many friends. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, at St. Phillip Neri Catholic Church, MWC, with interment at Sunny Lane Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to contact James Griffith Intermediate School in Choctaw for Memorial Contributions.
