LHS-MHS 40th Reunion Celebration Weekend
November 7-9, 2014
● Friday, November 7th – 6:30 p.m.- Homewood Suites & Grande Stadium (Loop 250 &
Hwy. 191)
(Due to the concerns of this cross-town rivalry game, the ‘tailgate’ has been moved, based on a
recommendation, to one of our host hotels – Homewood Suites.)
Just a few steps from Grande Stadium, the LHS-MHS Pre-Party will be in Homewood Suite’s
main event room and adjacent patio. You bring your favorite beverage, and we’ll have light
snacks while you pick up your football ticket for the big game (starts at 7:30 p.m.)at the Friday
Night Registration table. Not sure you want to go to the game? Better think again....You should
see us now!
Ticket price is already included in your reunion fee. No refunds. BYOB.
● Saturday, November 8th – 6:00 p.m.- ‘Shack In The Back’ (Highway 80 West, just past the
Airport)
Doors open at 6:00 p.m. to this oasis in West Texas! Quench your thirst at the CASH BAR.
Dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. – This one is different! No BBQ or Tex-Mex buffets here! Enjoy
interactive food stations with all your favorite foods from the past, with a kick! Chef Michael
will transport you back to the ‘70s with all his tasty memory-makers!
‘Rock Out’ at 8 p.m.! You loved them then, and you’ll love them now! After 40 years, Terry
Hancock and ‘The (original) Shades’ are back! We’ll be dancing the night away, to OUR music,
just like the old days, so get ready to ‘shake your groove thing’!
‘Late-Night Breakfast’- We’re going to feed you one more time, before the party’s over! We
think you’ll love our choice...and you’ll love that it’s already included in your reunion fee!
‘Party’s Over, Time to Call it a Night’ - 12 MIDNIGHT. Unfortunately, all good things must come
to an end, but don’t worry...Cab and taxi services will be available. We’ll provide the cell numbers
to call.
