Edward F. Cinq Mars Jr., 75, of Middletown, RI, passed away on March 8, 2024, in Newport Hospital.
Born in Providence, RI, he was the son of the late Edward and Alice (Sherwood) Cinq Mars.
Edward graduated from Middletown High School in 1966. He served in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Navy Reserves. Following his time in the service, he joined the Middletown Fire Department as a Lieutenant Fire Fighter, retiring in 1994 after 22 years.
