About	Hope Elizabeth (Granger) Yordy, 58, of Newport, RI, passed away on Monday October 29th, 2018. She left us far, far too soon, after a brave battle with stage iv lung cancer. Hope was born in Newport, RI to Robert "Tip" Granger and Eleanor (Reyes) Granger on December 19th, 1959. She went to Middletown High School, and after high school attended Executive Secretarial School on Spring Street in Newport. She loved country music, football, baseball (Go Red Sox!), and her beloved rescue dog, Rocky. From 1990-2011 she lived and worked in Danville, Pennsylvania with her former spouse, Jay Yordy, and their 3 children.
