| About Me | Worked 37 years in the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County system, 25 of those in children's services at the Main Library. Learned to clog, taught clogging, formed a clogging group, edited a dancer newsletter for cloggers. Once danced in a memorable off-Broadway production called "Close Harmonies" -- an evening of Appalachian music, poetry, and dance. Tell stories and play music with husband Russ Childers in our "Bear Foot" performances; play banjo uke with the Rabbit Hash String Band. Traveled to Zimbabwe in 1993 and China in 2007. For seven years I worked at the Cincinnati Library with Chinese high school English teachers as part of the Cincinnati-Liuzhou Sister City Exchange, teaching them how to present effective English language programs to the children in our community.
