About	Scott left behind his wife and son. Scott was diagnosed with cancer and died suddenly. He served with the Waynesville Police Department (6 yrs) and then Trotwood Police Department (12 yrs), as an officer and evidence technician. Scott had to take a medical retirement in 2011.
