| About Me | After graduating from FSU and Georgia Tech, headed out west to California where the computer industry was beginning grow. Except for a few Miami High reunions, rarely looked back in the direction of Florida's flat landscape. Worked as a software engineer in California and Oregon. Was far too busy during that time to stay permanently married. I have been living in Central Oregon's high-desert country for several years now. Lovely area: Mountains and lots of juniper; not a lot of palm trees. Spend a fair amount of time playing pickleball, hiking, cross-country skiing, kayaking, reading, and snacking on tortilla chips. Have taught introductory community-college classes in computing; and introductory cross-country ski classes. Done some traveling.
