| About Me | Born and raised in Boston, MA, I moved to Miami with my parents and brother when I was 16. There I completed high school and attended the University of Miami for a year when I realized I didn't want to continue studying psychology. After being inspired by Disney's Pocahontas and Sarah Brightman (Christina from Phantom of the Opera), I started singing for fun. Many family and friends encouraged me to take singing classes, so at age 20 I enrolled part-time at Miami Dade College in private Voice lessons and an Opera Workshop class (the closest course to Musical Theater at the time). On my first day of voice lessons, my voice coach asked me to sing something.... anything. I sang "Think of Me" from Phantom of the Opera. 20 seconds into the song, my teacher phoned the College Music Director to come here me sing. Minutes later, I was offered a full tuition scholarship if I would enroll full-time in the music program and sing for the college's elite Caravan Singers. Since then I've performed in many musicals and concerts over the years. I even lived in the OC, CA where I started an all girl a cappella doo-wop group and did that for a few years before returning to Miami to be close to my family again. When I can, I still sing and act in local productions, TV and Film. Now I live in, NC with my husband and three beautiful children. I became a gemologist in 2011. In 2017, I became a licensed Esthetician, and a Certified Nurse Aid in 2018. I am attending nursing school in 2019 and will be an RN with a BSN in 2022.
