About	On November 24, 2012 Miami Palmetto lost a great alum but gained a beautiful angel in Martha Allison Kerr, Class of 1973. If there is one thing that high school at Palmetto brought to me, it was MAK. She was just a pint size young lady BUT she fought pancreatic cancer longer then the odds that the doctors gave her! She was diagnosed in the Summer of 2011 and stayed strong and positive to the very end. Never a mean word from this young lady, she inspired us all with so much love and grace, for me always words of wisdom. I think of her everyday of my life and will until we meet again. She is my soul sister and that will never change...now we just find different ways to communicate. She is now resting in peace, without pain and suffering and only for that am I grateful....just 17 days of her 57th birthday on 12-12-12, she will be forever young in our hearts. Love you Martha my dear, you will never be forgotten. 12-16-12
